Get an Easy Hair Loss Treatment
Achieve luxurious-looking hair. Turn to us for a hair transplant, where we remove small punch grafts from your hair-bearing scalp to relocate it to bald or thinning areas. We do two methods for this type of transplant: follicular unit extraction (FUE) and follicular unit transplantation (FUT), also known as follicular unit strip surgery (FUSS).
With FUSS, our surgeon removes a 6- to 10-inch strip of skin from the back of your head. They set it aside and sew the scalp closed. The hair around immediately hides this area. Next, the surgeon will divide the strip into 500 to 2,000 tiny grafts, depending on your hair type, color, and quality. This will also depend on the size of the area affected by hair loss.
On the other hand, our surgeons can start an FUE procedure by shaving the back of your scalp and individually removing hair follicles. The donor area heals with small dots, which your existing hair will cover.
After these steps, both hair transplant procedures will have the same proceeding process. After preparing the grafts, the surgeon will clean and numb the area where the hair will go. Then, they will create holes or slits where the grafts will be placed.
What to Expect After the Transplant
After a hair transplant, you may experience scalp tenderness. So, you will need to take medications, such as antibiotics or anti-inflammatory drugs, and wear bandages over your scalp for several days. But overall, the hair transplant recovery time is shorter than most people expect it to be. In fact, most of our clients return to work 2-5 days after the operation.
In addition, a hair transplant usually only takes 4-8 hours, depending on the size of the transplant you need. You can get more procedures later in case you continue losing hair or decide you want thicker hair.
